I was lucky enough to grow up on a small organic farm in rural Somerset, which is still in the family today. My father had read books on organic farming while away during the war and told me "It just seemed to make sense".

So when I found a company, less than 10 miles from that farm, that could give me an income and access to the most amazing products to offer to others, while at the same time supporting my organic and ethical principles, it seemed a complete no-brainer!

I was a very slow starter however, and it took me a while to get my head around what this amazing opportunity was. Even though I had joined the business on the strength of its reputation, I had only ever tried a couple of products in the shop in Covent Garden as a young twenty something and thought they were beyond my pocket.

Now I have learned that with Neal's Yard products a little goes a long way ... and they are really effective too, so nothing else gets a look in on my skin. My bathroom only has room for blue bottles now!

After a career in PR for some amazing companies in London, I am now so proud to be back in my native West Country, supporting a local business that does amazing things not just for me but for those of you I meet. Whether you are a customer, a hostess of a Neal's Yard event or one of my fabulous team, I hope you enjoy your Neal's Yard journey as much as I am enjoying mine!
